Coming Unscrewed

After all of the paint was removed we discovered that the roof was in bad shape. There was no doubt that something major was going to have to go down in order to repair the roof. We just need to figure out what that was going to be. In the meantime, the drip rail around the Shasta was dinged, bent and damaged. The awning rail was actually filled in with caulk. We decided it would be best to remove it and replace it with new drip and awning rail. See all the little back dots along the top edge of the camper? Those are old, rusty, stripped out screws. Do you see where this is going? All umpteen-million of those hard-to-get-out screws needed to be removed out. It was not easy. DSC_0157 DSC_0154
