Honey, I Ordered the Stripper

Aeroplane Stripper, that is.

What could go wrong? That video on YouTube made it look so easy.

We painted the stripper on the camper and let it marinate in it for about 8 hours. DSC_0119

Then we went to town with 2 pressure washers. IMG_4080

After 5 hours of straight pressure washing......there was still paint on the camper.

So we got up early the next morning and painted on one more coat of stripper and let the Canned Ham marinate again. And pressure washed. Again. For 3 straight hours...

...and there was still damn paint on the camper.DSC_0135

So we repeated the lather, rinse, repeat, curse cycle. IMG_4096

This was going to be it for the stripper. 3 times the charm, right? Any paint left on this Aluminum Beast was now going to have to be sanded.

Honestly, it was at this point that I thought the worst was behind us. How could anything else we do on this camper possibly be any worse than what we just experienced? This, by far, had to be the.worst.job.ever.

If you are keeping track of the time line. This is one week after purchasing the Canned Ham.
